Why I Like Romanian Deadlifts. I talk about why I prefer the Romanian Deadlift to the Stiff-legged Deadlift so often performed by bodybuilders. Not only do I find the Romanian Deadlift less dangerous on the lower back and hamstring tendons, but I feel it is a more effective alternative to hit the muscle bellies of the hamstrings. I also take you through some bent over rows in this workout and give you some tips on how to make sure that you're activating the majority of your back in the exercise instead of straining your lower back long before you even challenge the upper back.
